Intel AMT CSME Firmware Multiple Memory Leaks Denial of Service VulnerabilitySeptember 20, 2018 am30 1:55 am

A vulnerability in the Intel Converged Security and Management Engine (CSME) firmware used in Intel Active Management Technology (AMT) could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a partial denial of service (DoS) condition on a targeted system.

The vulnerability is due to multiple memory leak conditions in the affected software. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a request that submits malicious input to the targeted system. An exploit could cause a partial DoS condition.

Intel confirmed the vulnerability and released software updates.
